the return of the golden seahorse

it has been awhile, so i've decided to make some seahorse necklaces... here we have a vintage, natural gold dipped seahorse on 14k gold fill chain with faceted labradorite and vintage glass heart.

kelly saw the bracelet and decided she wanted a necklace version. this all worked out perfectly since i had no idea what to get her for her birthday. i gave it to her at her birthday party last night at malo and she loved it. one of a kind, just like kelly... happy birthday kelly! i'm a little late with this, but this is a red leather and 14k gold fill necklace i made for my friend heisenflei, one half of l.a. indie duo the pity party. heisenflei is a hot red head who rocks out on the drums AND keyboard all the while singing... they will be at silverlake lounge tomorrow night!

this is a detail shot from a new painting by stacie jaye meyer. stacie and i went to high school together and we used to sit in her moms basement and listen to music while i painted my nails and stacie drew my face. i am happy to say that we have a couple projects we will be collaborating on. i am very excited! check out her new work HERE.
